Can we just name Dwayne The Rock Johnson the King of Twitter already? The successful actor never fails to shoot out a memorable tweet, blessing our timelines with his words of wisdom, appreciating for his fans and, our personal favorite, absolutely crushing haters with his witty sense of humor.
A former professional wrestler, Dwayne The Rock Johnson can shut down a Twitter argument faster than he could destroy an opponent in the ring. The Rock has been promoting his latest film across his social media pages. The actor always makes a point to promote all his films and thank his fans continuously for their success. It seems to work well for him: Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle has grossed over $400 million domestically so far.
Aside from Johnson’s successful wrestling and movie careers, it’s the actor’s personality that has gained him such a loyal fan base. Although he could easily come off as one of the most intimidating actors with his overwhelming stature and crazy build, The Rock is actually known as one of the most approachable, interacting with his fans online, creating personal videos thanking them for his successes and offering daily motivation to encourage them to follow their dreams.
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is a modern take on an old classic when the board game version of Jumanji magically transforms into a video game to keep up with the times. Eventually, four teenagers are transported into the video game and must pass every level in order to win and return home. So what did The Rock do when one hater claimed the movie completely disregarded basic video game technicalities? Johnson pulled out the Jumanjihandbook, of course.
After a Twitter user pointed out the supposed plot hole in the film, Dwayne The Rock Johnson responded less than 30 minutes later quoting the Jumanji handbook to refute the haters’ claims. Johnson wrote that in article 72 of section 7, “Any character who loses a life, shall return to their original state with an item they possessed at the time of there demise.”
Twitter
Johnson’s fans flooded Twitter with funny wrestling gifs applauding the actor’s complete destruction of the Jumanji hater through a single tweet, some quoting his famous wrestling line “Shut your damn mouth.” This isn’t the first time The Rock has taken the opportunity to put a heckler in their place and we’re sure it won’t be the last.
Best of all, the Twitter user who complained about the plot hole did a complete 180 and expressed his love for The Rock after his epic response. He even tweeted “THE ROCK IS THE GREATEST HUMAN<3” in all caps. And that’s how the actor managed to turn yet another hater into a Dwayne The Rock Johnson fan.
