19-year-old from Lynwood Charged for Raping a High School Student as she was Dying from an Overdose

19-year-old Brian Roberto Varela of Lynwood and a student of Washington State has been arrested for raping 18-year-old Alyssa Mae Noceda while she was dying from an opioid overdose. He then bragged to his friends about what happened and stuffed the girl’s body into a bin before heading to work.
Varela was taken into custody on February 6th on suspicion of manslaughter, homicide by controlled substance and 2nd-degree rape of Noceda. The graphic police report that was filed in court on February 3rd detailed how Noceda, a student at Mariner High School, met Varela at a party in a mobile home park in Lynwood.
Noceda had broken up with her boyfriend recently and had followed Varela into his bedroom. Once there she snorted a long line of Percocet, a prescription painkiller. Varela and other witnesses told police that Noceda passed out after he had given her a “dab” of liquid THC.
Varela allegedly raped Noceda instead of calling for help or taking her to the ER.
KIRO7 also reported that Varela told his friends later on that he did not know if “she was alive when he ejaculated into her.”
Some of his friends received a group text message later that night which included photos of an unconscious woman who had swollen blue lips and was dressed in nothing but Calvin Klein underwear. According to the report, Varela texted: “LOL I think she od’d, still breathing.”
He reportedly also texted: “I’m smashing her to pass the time.” Later on, it was reported that he told a friend that Noceda “died having sex with me.” The report also stated that Varela had briefly thought of dropping Noceda off at the emergency room but he told a friend that he was “too tired to do so” and went to sleep instead.
He woke up the following morning to find Noceda dead next to him. He showed her body to his roommate who told police later that the girl seemed stiff and had foam around her mouth.
Varela locked his bedroom door with Noceda’s body still inside and went on to do a double shift at a Dairy Queen instead of contacting the authorities.
His co-workers told police that Varela couldn’t stop bragging at work about having sex with Noceda. He apparently described in extremely graphic detail how he broke the girl’s legs to be able to put her body into a plastic bin which he was planning to fill with onions and then bury once he was done with work.
One of his colleagues called the police after seeing a post on Facebook by Noceda’s mother reporting that her daughter was missing. Cops raided Varela’s mobile home on Tuesday morning and found Noceda’s body inside a black bin.
When the police interrogated Varela he admitted to having sex with the high school student but told them the sex was consensual even though she was “out of it.” He had tried to wash his DNA off Noceda’s body after she died. He then stuffed her into a crate and started researching on the internet for how to dispose of a body. He told the authorities that he was too afraid to call them.
Varela read Noceda’s mother’s post on Facebook. He then used the dead teen’s thumb to unlock her iPhone and then updated her Snapchat to make it look like she had run away. The girl had done this before so he hoped it wouldn’t look suspicious. Varela then threw the phone away at a construction site.
The authorities have since found the phone and are looking through its contents. Varela appeared in his first court hearing and it was reported by The Daily Herald that he was smirking the entire time.
One of the prosecutors said that Varela showed “a callous and shocking disregard for human life”. A judge has ordered that Varela is held in jail on a $500,000 bail.
Noceda’s aunt has started a GoFundMe campaign to help her family pay for her funeral. As of writing the article, the campaign has raised around $6,160.
